Another Kemp Wedding

My brother Ryan and his beautiful wife Anna were married this past Saturday (June 18), making that 3 weddings in a year for my parents (wow!). That's 4 of us down, 1 to go!

The rain patiently waited to come down until the night was over, making it a beautiful day for the outdoor wedding and reception they had.  Here are a few highlights of the day and some shots of the happy couple:
(you'll find as you go through these they are somewhat non-conventional--which makes them a perfect match and gave all of us a really fun day!)

Note Ben's hair--I successfully cut it all by myself and he can still go out in public! Success!

The boys all very focused on Jeff's new iPad
Cutting their..cupcake..with a Marine sword--like I said, non-conventional

We even concluded the night going to see the Green Lantern with them still all dressed up!
(You'd better believe we got free tickets!)

It was a fantastic wedding and great weekend, and we are so happy to have Anna in the family!  I can't think of anyone better for my brother than her.

Congrats Ryan and Anna!

Sunday Picnic

After weeks and weeks of rain and cold, last week we finally had some nice sunny days! So last Sunday we decided to take advantage of it.

So Ben cooked us up some Mojito Lime chicken* and rice, I packed up some string cheese and a bottle of soda and off we went on a picnic!

Apparently everyone else in Ogden had the same idea as us, because the park was crowded but we found ourselves a nice little corner under some trees and just enjoyed the beautiful day.

I am desperate for more days in the sun like this, so let's hope the rain is over and summer can finally begin!

(*Note on Mojito Lime: it is this amazing marinade we discovered one day and LOVE.  In fact, we stock up every time we go to the store out of fear that we would one day run out and then wouldn't be able to find it again. So far Smith's is the only place we've found that has this particular flavor...try it...you'll never be the same.)

Arizona Graduation

I'm a little late in posting about it--but we got to take an awesome trip down to Gilbert, AZ over Memorial Day weekend to see Ben's youngest sister, Melissa, graduate high school!  What a great day for her, and it was so fun to be there!  The entire family was there, and we had a great time!

Congrats on graduating Melissa! Now real life begins! :)
